I previously graduated from the School of Computer Science, Peking University 🇨🇳 where I worked with Prof. He Wang.

After graduation, I interned in the Bay Area 🇺🇸 where I take part in some interesting Humanoid Loco-Manipulation projects with Prof. Yue Wang (USC). During my time at Galbot, I was also a member of a joint humanoid research lab co-led by Prof. Li Yi (Tsinghua). Long ago, I had a wonderful time interning at a quant firm with Dr. Luan Tran.

Research

Currently, I'm interested in General Robot Loco-Manipulation with a strong emphasis on how to efficiently combine sim2real with real-world demonstrations for developing scalable robotics frameworks. Towards this goal, I'm exploring the applications of Large Model with strong prior vision-language knowledge, while pushing other important yet underexplored modalities like force.

Then Russian people would call me До or Зунг depending how well they know me. Then in China, I need to choose another Chinese name, 杜迅勇 (Du Xunyong). In case you're not sure how to pronounce my name, just call me Chris!
